Frequently asked questions

Can a qualification earned in China be verified and recognised?

The authenticity and standing of a qualification can be checked online through official channels such as the Chinese Ministry of Education’s Xuexin (CHESICC); we only help you follow a verifiable, formal route, and we do not vouch for any school’s recognition.

My child is alone in China — how is their safety looked after?

Partner high schools generally have boarding management, campus security and a school clinic; no organisation can promise zero risk, so we set out each school’s specific measures honestly and check them with you point by point.

Each school’s specific measures are on its own page.

How much does it all cost?

Costs vary by university, programme and scholarship, and we do not set a figure in advance; tell a consultant your situation and you’ll get a fitting estimate and explanation.

How scholarships and refunds work is on the "Study in China" page.
